Open Acoustic Devices AudioMoth v1.2.0
The AudioMoth is a compact, low-cost full-spectrum acoustic logger powered by an EFM32 Gecko processor. Measuring just 58 x 48 x 15 mm, it records uncompressed WAV audio to microSD cards at 8 kHz–384 kHz. Equipped with an analog MEMS microphone, pre-amplifier with adjustable gain, and optional 3.5 mm mic input (v1.2+), it operates on 3 AA batteries. Its configurable USB interface and onboard real-time clock enable precise UTC timestamping, making it ideal for monitoring audible and ultrasonic frequencies in field or lab acoustic research applications.
